Generation Alpha Adolescent Manners: A Descriptive Analysis of Islamic Psychoeducational Perspectives in State Junior High Schools

This study aims to find out the manners of alpha gen adolescents: a descriptive analysis of the perspective of Islamic educational psychos. Generation alpha is a generation born in 2010-2025 and is called digital native. Intense involvement with digital technology has deeply affected the communication patterns and social behavior, one of which is adab. The subjects of the study were 46 students obtained by stratified random sampling technique. The research method is quantitative descriptive. The adab scale is in the form of a Likert scale of 45 statements divided into favorable and unfavorable items with alternative answers. The researcher used a used tryout scale. The validity test used the product moment technique and the reliability test using the alpha cronbach technique, analyzed using the SPSS 25.0. From the validity test, 41 valid items were obtained, while the reliability test results of 0.896 were included in the very high reliability category. The level of manners of grade VII students at SMPN 1 Sumberrejo Bojonegoro was in the high group of 9 students, the medium group of 29 students, and the low group of 8 students. The results of this study recommend that schools, teachers, and counseling teachers continue to develop student manners in an ongoing manner. Islamic psychoeducation offers a holistic approach that integrates psychological understanding of adolescents' development aspects. The perspective of Islamic psychoeducation can be with routine habituation that is carried out consistently and supported by the example of teachers, as well as synergy between schools, families and communities.
