1. Publication License

Articles published in Attanwir: Jurnal Keislaman dan Pendidikan are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), unless otherwise indicated.

Authors retain copyright in their articles and grant the journal the right of first publication. Further information is available in the journal’s Copyright Notice.

2. Permitted Uses

The license allows users to:

Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material.

These permissions apply to any purpose, including commercial use, provided that users comply with the license terms.

3. Conditions of Reuse

Attribution

Users must give appropriate credit to the authors, acknowledge the article’s initial publication in this journal, provide a link to the license, and indicate whether changes were made.

Users must retain applicable copyright and license notices and provide a DOI or link to the original article where available. Attribution must not suggest that the authors or the journal endorse the reuse.

ShareAlike

Users who remix, transform, or build upon the material must distribute their contributions under the same license or a compatible license permitted by CC BY-SA 4.0.

No Additional Restrictions

Users must not impose legal terms or technological measures that restrict others from exercising the rights granted by the license.

4. Third-Party Material and Other Rights

Third-party material included in an article is covered by the article’s license unless otherwise indicated in a credit line.

If material is excluded from the license, users must obtain permission from the relevant rights holder unless their intended use is otherwise permitted by law.

The license does not remove applicable privacy, publicity, or moral rights. Users are responsible for obtaining any additional permissions required for their intended use.

5. Exceptions and License Continuity

Users do not need to comply with the license for material in the public domain or where their use is permitted by an applicable legal exception or limitation.

The permissions granted under CC BY-SA 4.0 cannot be revoked as long as users comply with its terms. This policy does not replace a different license expressly stated on an individual article.
