This journal issue presents a range of scholarly articles that address contemporary developments in Islamic education, pesantren traditions, curriculum innovation, and character formation. The discussions include programs for improving Qur’an memorization quality among santri, the effectiveness of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model in Islamic Religious Education, philological studies of pesantren scholarly manuscripts, humility education in Islamic boarding schools, responsive Islamic education on women’s politics in the digital era, integration of Qur’anic and Hadith values in curriculum development, the impact of curriculum reform on student performance and motivation in madrasah, and innovative character education for building the Golden Generation of 2045. Through these themes, this issue highlights the contribution of Islamic education studies in responding to moral, social, pedagogical, and institutional challenges.
