About the Journal

Al-Ihath: Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam is published by the Study Program of Islamic Guidance and Counseling, Faculty of Dakwah, Institut Attanwir Bojonegoro, Indonesia. The journal is published biannually, with issues released in January and July. Al-Ihath was founded with the fundamental mission of advancing the discipline and promoting the wide dissemination of high-standard academic inquiry in the fields of Guidance Counseling and Psychology.

Our commitment to scholarly quality is reinforced through strategic collaborations with key professional associations, including ABKIN (Asosiasi Bimbingan dan Konseling Indonesia), PABKI (Perkumpulan Ahli Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam), and the Forum Redaktur Jurnal Kopertais IV. We invite academics to submit manuscripts that demonstrate a significant contribution and offer novelty to the discipline. The primary acceptance criteria are rigorously defined by the scholarly significance of the manuscript, its ability to address a critical research gap, and its potential impact, both theoretically and practically.

This system is meticulously designed to ensure an objective, independent, and constructive assessment based solely on the quality of the content. Authors are strictly required to adhere to the author guidelines and rigid publication ethics to ensure the manuscript meets the highest standards of academic publishing. Al-Ihath invites manuscripts in the areas: Functional Areas of Guidance, Counseling Psychology, Crisis Counseling, Islamic Spiritual Guidance, Management of Individual Counseling Services, Peer Counseling Services, Development of Counseling Guidance Service Programs, Group Counseling, Cross-Cultural Counseling, Cultural Psychology, Islamic Psychotherapy, and Mental Health.
