Peer Review Process

As-Suluk employs a Double-Blind Peer Review process.

  1. Initial Screening: The Editor-in-Chief assesses the manuscript for scope, formatting, and adherence to author guidelines.

  2. External Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent expert reviewers in the relevant field. The identity of both the author and the reviewers is concealed from one another.

  3. Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations (Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject), the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision.

  4. Timeline: The review process typically takes 4 to 8 weeks. Authors are expected to make necessary revisions promptly.
